Monday 7th June 11am: Gambling Awareness for Carers and Parent Carers

In this session Suzy Hall from GamCare will run a workshop covering what gambling is, understanding the hidden harms of gambling and how they impact both the person gambling (which can take many forms, including via video games) and those around them. The session will explore the support available and how to access it.

Make friends with your inner procrastinator – so that you can take charge! In this light-hearted 2.5-hour coaching workshop we will take a good hard look at procrastination and consider the risks and any possible benefits of this habit that so many of us are affected by.

You will learn about how to take charge of your procrastination habit by recognising the ways and the reasons you procrastinate. You will discover your own individual procrastination style so you can develop targeted strategies for dealing with it better and apply your learning to something you have been meaning to do for a while, but…..

In this much-needed workshop for carers and people who support others, Sarah Noakes will provide a range of positively-framed mindfulness techniques to help with the pressures of caregiving and shows how these can be used alongside existing conventional health treatments to reduce stress and manage anxiety on both physical and emotional levels.
