City and Hackney Carers Centre is a small local independent charity. We support the 18,500 unpaid carers living in the City of London and Hackney, offering activities and events, peer support, counselling, advice and information.

We are the paving the way for local voluntary sector service providers having successfully moved all our services online during the Covid-19 pandemic. Going forward we will continue to meet the needs of our beneficiaries through a mixed model of support delivery including online, via telephone and in person at venues across the local community.

Temporary Short Term Project Worker - Digital Inclusion

City & Hackney Carers Centre are looking to appoint a Short Term Project Worker for our brand new Digital Inclusion Project. The project will connect with the most digitally excluded carers, seek to understand what is preventing them from getting online and then support them practically and through funding to get to digital groups and activities. We are looking for a self starter who is warm, welcoming and has exceptional IT skills.
