An unpaid carer is someone of any age who, without payment, provides care and support to a partner, friend, relative or neighbour who could not manage without their help. This may be due to a physical or learning disability, a mental health condition, long term illness, frailty, addiction or substance misuse.
Three in five people living in the UK will become carers at some point in their lives; although caring can have positive and rewarding aspects, there are lots of reasons why caring can also leave you needing support.
That’s why we are here – to support the practical, emotional and social needs of unpaid carers living in the City and Hackney.
Please note: We are no longer at our office on Mentmore Terrace, London Fields but are delivering our services via telephone, e-mail, Zoom and in-person (when we can) in various community locations.
Due to a change on our phone provider there maybe some disruption to our phone line.
If you experience any problems getting through to us via the phone please kindly drop us an email with your name and number at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will call you back.
